Job summary

New York Life is seeking an experienced Executive Recruiter to lead senior-level searches across Technology, Financial services and corporate leadership roles. The role partners closely with senior management to deliver high-impact talent solutions and manages a focused portfolio of 5–8 complex searches.

You will conduct market mapping, advise leadership, and lead negotiation of offers while collaborating with HR Business Partners and Legal to ensure competitive, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of recruiting experience, with executive-search background.
• Experience leading executive searches in financial services or regulated orgs.
• Strong advisory, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end executive recruiting for senior roles (5–8 concurrent).
• Partner with senior leaders to define requirements and search strategies.
• Conduct market mapping and passive candidate research.
• Develop bespoke candidate engagement strategies and long-term relationships.
• Lead offer strategy and negotiate complex compensation packages.
• Collaborate with HR and Legal to design compliant offers.
• Track search effectiveness and provide post-search analysis.
