Job summary

Mission Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to join our Temporary & Consulting division, focused on recruiting for financial services institutions including hedge funds, private equity firms, banks, asset managers, investment firms, and FinTech companies. This is not an entry-level recruiting role.

We are looking for someone who already understands the financial services market, knows how to recruit within it, and can come in and work on active roles from day one with limited

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting within financial services is required.
• Experience recruiting for hedge funds, private equity firms, banks, asset managers, or other financial institutions is required.
• Staffing agency experience preferred.
• Strong sourcing and candidate management skills; ability to manage multiple active searches.

Responsibilities

• Recruit for temporary, consulting, temp-to-perm, and project-based roles within financial services
• Work on active client requirements from day one
• Source and recruit candidates across Accounting & Finance, Operations, Middle Office, Compliance, Financial Crimes, HR, Administrative Support, and other corporate functions
• Recruit talent for hedge funds, private equity firms, banks, asset managers, FinTech companies, and other financial institutions
• Conduct candidate screens and determine fit for specific client requirements
• Manage candidates throughout the interview, offer, onboarding, and assignment process
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of financial services professionals
• Partner directly with the business development team on active searches
• Move quickly and independently in a fast-paced staffing environment

This is not an entry-level recruiting role. We are looking for someone who already understands the financial services market, knows how to recruit within it, and can come in and work on active roles from day one with limited hand-holding.

You will be joining an established and growing temp business with active clients, open positions, and a strong pipeline of opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous recruiting experience within financial services is required
• Must have experience recruiting for organizations such as hedge funds, private equity firms, banks, asset managers, or other financial institutions
• Staffing agency experience strongly preferred
• Strong sourcing and candidate management skills
• Ability to understand job requirements quickly and identify qualified candidates
• Comfortable managing multiple active searches at once
• Self-sufficient and able to operate with limited hand-holding
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a production-driven environment
• Existing financial services candidate network is a major plus
