Job summary

The Mutual Group seeks an Associate Executive Operations Manager to partner with its Executive Office in West Des Moines. This on-site role supports 2–3 senior executives, manages complex calendars, travel, and meetings, and maintains governance materials with discretion.

You will back up the Executive Operations Manager, chair projects, and drive process improvements across the office while safeguarding confidential information. A strong, proactive, organized communicator is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive executive support or related experience.
• Experience supporting senior executives, including governance activities.
• Experience coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Board & governance activities: meetings, agendas, minutes, materials.
• Provide high-level executive support: calendars, travel, expense management, logistics.
• Back up Executive Operations Manager during absences, guiding the team and maintaining continuity.
• Lead or coordinate executive and organizational projects from planning to completion.
