Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an experienced senior communications partner to serve the executive leadership team. This role translates complex business strategies into compelling communications that inspire action, build trust, and reinforce the organization's mission.

You will advise leaders on messaging, develop comprehensive strategies, and lead writing for speeches, town halls, board materials, articles, blogs, and external bylines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of degree.
• 7 years in health care, health insurance, information technology and/or large corporation communications.
• 5 years managing large communication programs in corporate environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive executive communications strategies aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Advise executive leaders on messaging, positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
• Write and edit high-impact communications including speeches, town hall remarks, and leadership materials.
• Oversee internal and external communications reflecting authentic leadership voice.
• Manage crisis communications and rapid response planning with business partners.
• Lead communication analytics and reporting to senior leadership.
