Iridium seeks a Senior Communications Specialist to support company-wide executive and internal communications. This role develops structured programs that promote clarity, alignment, consistency, and credibility across the organization, reporting to the Executive Director of Communications.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in executive, internal communications or corporate PR.
• Exceptional executive-level writing, editing, and message development skills.
• Demonstrated experience designing and executing structured communications or PR programs.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across functions.
• Analytical mindset with experience translating data into insight and action.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate executive and employee communications strategies.
• Draft leadership emails, internal announcements, talking points, briefing notes, and updates.
• Plan internal communications for business initiatives and leadership priorities.
• Define audience segmentation to meet needs of employees, leaders, and business units.
• Maintain key channels (email, intranet, town halls, leadership updates).
• Collaborate with HR and leaders to support engagement and change management.
• Coordinate messaging across teams to reduce redundancy and maintain consistency.
• Gather feedback through surveys and sentiment tracking; develop insights.
