This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role centered on calendar management, meeting coordination, or administrative support. We are seeking an exceptional Senior Executive Assistant who will operate as a strategic and execution partner to the CEO - someone who learns quickly, exercises sound judgment, solves complex problems independently, and drives high-priority work across the organization.
The right person will be effective even when information is incomplete, the problem is not yet well defined, and ownership spans multiple functions. You will turn ambiguity into structure, coordinate the right resources, and maintain momentum through resolution.
Core mandate:
Expand the CEO's management bandwidth, improve the speed and quality of decision-making, and reduce the time the CEO must personally spend chasing execution or resolving complex cross-functional issues.
What You'll Do
Strategic and Decision Support
- Rapidly get up to speed on the business, organizational, and operating issues that matter most to the CEO; identify the core problem, key variables, and true priorities.
- Conduct research, market and industry benchmarking, information gathering, and analysis; synthesize fragmented inputs into clear conclusions, options, and recommendations.
- Go beyond reporting issues by developing a point of view, proposing solutions, and making clear recommendations when appropriate.
- Prepare concise executive briefings, decision materials, critical meeting content, and high-impact communications.
Complex Problem Solving
- Take ownership of important issues that cross functions, have unclear boundaries, or do not yet have a natural owner.
- Translate ambiguous requests into a clear problem definition, workstreams, priorities, owners, and next steps.
- Proactively gather information, diagnose root causes, coordinate internal and external resources, and drive issues through to genuine resolution.
- Use judgment to determine what requires CEO involvement and what can be decided and advanced independently.
CEO-Sponsored Strategic Initiatives
- Lead or coordinate selected CEO-sponsored initiatives from initial concept through execution.
- Build objectives, execution plans, timelines, and accountability mechanisms from the ground up, then drive cross-functional delivery.
- Continuously surface risks, roadblocks, and resource gaps; push the right issues toward resolution before momentum is lost.
- Own the outcome - not just the process.
Executive Leverage and Cross-Functional Influence
- Act as a highly trusted extension of the CEO in selected internal and external interactions.
- Track critical decisions, commitments, and follow-up actions so priorities do not fall through the cracks or lose momentum.
- Influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams without relying on formal reporting authority.
- Help optimize the CEO's attention and time allocation by reducing repetitive communication and the need for personal follow-up.
Hands-on Executive Support When Needed
- Provide hands-on support for critical meetings, urgent matters, key follow-ups, travel, and other executive priorities when business needs require it.
- Be equally willing to handle practical execution and to keep increasing the level of judgment, scope, and complexity the role can absorb.
- Bring a no-task-is-beneath-me mindset while recognizing that the role's value extends far beyond task completion.
What You're Looking For
- Intellectual horsepower: Learns quickly, identifies what matters, and can understand the real issue from incomplete information.
- Learning agility: Can enter unfamiliar businesses, industries, and problem areas rapidly without relying on a fixed playbook.
- Structured problem solving: Turns ambiguity into a clear problem definition, logical structure, priorities, and solution path.
- Judgment: Distinguishes what matters most, when to escalate, and when to make a decision independently.
- Ownership: Takes responsibility for final outcomes rather than treating completion of assigned tasks as the endpoint.
- Communication and influence: Communicates clearly with senior leaders and stakeholders at different levels and can build alignment across functions.
- Execution and resilience: Is reliable, detail-oriented, and strong in follow-through; delivers consistently under pressure and rapid change.
Preferred Background
We are open to a range of career paths. Strong candidates may come from a CEO Office, Founder's Office, Strategy & Operations, Business Operations, management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, investment, a high-growth technology company, a startup, or a senior Executive Business Partner role.
Prior experience directly supporting a CEO or senior executive is a plus, but not required. We care more about learning speed, judgment, problem-solving ability, maturity, and the ability to drive results than whether someone has held a traditional Executive Assistant title.
Location, Travel, and Work Style

- Candidates must be genuinely willing to relocate to Dallas and establish it as their primary work location.
- The role requires comfort in a fast-paced CEO Office where priorities can change frequently and flexibility is essential.
- Candidates should have reasonable travel flexibility and be prepared to invest the time, energy, and ownership required for critical priorities.
