Job description

Overview

This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role.

This is a high-impact position working directly alongside the CEO of a $500M +, 1,500-employee company operating across 13 states and 30 + branches. The role is designed for someone who wants to learn the business at a high level, drive execution, and grow.

The CEO is highly efficient and self-sufficient—this role is about improving execution, removing friction, and increasing organizational effectiveness.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Acting as a force multiplier for the CEO—managing priorities, follow-ups, and key initiatives
  • Coordinating communication across executive leadership, branch teams, and external partners
  • Planning and executing corporate events, leadership meetings, and company gatherings
  • Supporting travel and occasionally attending key events or meetings
  • Helping manage the company’s monthly reporting cadence and executive deliverables
  • Tracking action items and ensuring strong follow-through across the organization
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, communication, and execution
What Success Looks Like
  • The CEO is highly focused on strategic priorities with minimal distractions
  • All key initiatives and follow-ups are tracked and completed on time
  • Corporate events and leadership meetings are executed seamlessly
  • Monthly reporting cycles run efficiently, even during high-intensity periods
  • Communication across leadership is clear, aligned, and consistent
First 90 Days

0–30 Days: Learn the business, build trust, understand priorities and reporting cadence

30–60 Days: Take ownership of follow-ups, coordination, and support a full reporting cycle

60–90 Days: Operate independently, improve processes, and take ownership of key initiatives or events

By 90 days, you are functioning as a proactive extension of the CEO—not just supporting, but driving execution.

Who This Role Is Perfect For
  • Someone who takes ownership and doesn’t wait to be told what to do
  • Someone who wants exposure to how a large business operates at the executive level
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Someone highly organized but flexible, able to bring structure to complexity
  • Someone who follows through relentlessly and cares about outcomes
  • Someone interested in growing into a Chief of Staff or leadership role
Who This Role Is Not For
  • Someone looking for a purely task-based or reactive administrative role
  • Someone who requires constant direction or highly structured instructions
  • Someone uncomfortable with fast pace, ambiguity, or high expectations
  • Someone seeking a strict 9-to-5 schedule without flexibility during key business periods
  • Someone not interested in growing beyond a traditional support role
Additional Notes
  • Occasional travel required
  • Event planning is a meaningful part of the role
  • Expect longer hours at the end of each month to support reporting and executive deliverables
