- Go beyond identifying problems - develop potential solutions and make clear recommendations.
- Prepare executive briefings, decision materials, meeting materials, and high-impact communications.
2. Solve Complex & Ambiguous Problems
- Take ownership of important issues that cross functions or do not yet have a clear owner.
- Turn ambiguous requests into structured problems, priorities, workstreams, owners, and next steps.
- Proactively gather information and identify root causes.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to move issues forward.
- Know when a matter requires CEO involvement and when you can make the decision and move independently.
3. Drive CEO-Sponsored Strategic Initiatives
- Lead or coordinate high-priority initiatives sponsored by the CEO.
- Take projects from an initial idea through execution.
- Build objectives, timelines, workstreams, accountability mechanisms, and execution plans from the ground up.
- Identify risks, roadblocks, and resource gaps before they become major issues.
- Drive cross-functional execution and take ownership of the outcome - not just the process.
4. Increase CEO Leverage
- Act as a trusted extension of the CEO in selected internal and external interactions.
- Track critical decisions, commitments, and follow-up actions.
- Ensure important priorities do not fall through the cracks or lose momentum.
- Influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams without relying on formal authority.
- Help the CEO optimize time and attention by reducing repetitive communication and execution follow-up.
5. Hands-on Executive Support
- This is a senior role, but we are looking for someone who is comfortable getting into the details when necessary.
- Depending on business priorities, you may support: Critical meetings, Urgent business issues, Executive follow-ups, Travel and executive logistics, Time-sensitive projects and Other priorities directly related to the CEO
What We're Looking For
We care more about how you think and operate than whether your previous title was "Executive Assistant".
You should be someone who:
- Learns extremely quickly and identifies what matters.
- Can understand complex situations with incomplete information.
- Turns ambiguity into structure and action.
- Has strong judgment and knows when to elevate versus when to act independently.
- Takes ownership of outcomes rather than simply completing assigned tasks.

- Can influence people without relying on formal authority.
- Is highly reliable, detail-oriented, and strong in follow-through.
- Can perform consistently in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
- Is comfortable with changing priorities and a high degree of flexibility.
