Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Exchange environments in a large enterprise.
• Experience with Exchange Server, Exchange Online, Hybrid Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience administering enterprise email security platforms, preferably Proofpoint.
• Hands-on experience with Proofpoint TRAP or comparable email threat detection.
• Strong understanding of email security including phishing protection and malware remediation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Exchange, mail flow, and email security issues.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise messaging environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online.
• Manage and support hybrid Exchange deployments and Microsoft 365/cloud services.
• Maintain and support enterprise email security platforms, including Proofpoint.
• Use Proofpoint TRAP to identify and remediate threats after delivery.
• Troubleshoot mail flow, messaging, security, and delivery issues.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and escalations.
• Support messaging modernization and cloud migration initiatives, including decommissioning legacy Exchange infrastructure and migrating resources to cloud-based platforms.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and applications teams to improve messaging reliability and security.
• Develop and implement email security best practices and operational standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
