Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5+ years of industry-related experience required; emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges.
• At least 3 years with Cat 249 size or bigger excavator.
• Experience placing rock plating and embankments on slopes or rock quarries (min. 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Operate an excavator in close proximity to equipment and the public safely.
• Perform daily fluid level checks and inspect for leaks or damage before operation.
• Responsible for daily maintenance and notifying supervisor if repairs are needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
