Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking experienced Excavator Operators for critical infrastructure projects in telecom construction. The role entails operating excavators, conducting daily inspections, and ensuring safety on job sites. A minimum of 5 years in utilities or construction environments is required, as well as a strong emphasis on reading plans and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of excavator experience in utilities or construction environments.
• Experience with fiber optic or underground utility installation is a strong asset.
• Strong understanding of safe digging practices and job site safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators for trenching, backfilling, grading, and utility installation.
• Safely excavate around live underground utilities.
• Read and execute work using utility locates and construction drawings.
