Job summary

Motive in New York City is seeking a Senior Events Project Manager to lead high-impact event initiatives across field marketing, trade shows, and experiential programs. You’ll coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and external vendors, manage schedules, budgets, and run-of-show details, and drive on-site execution with a focus on quality and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in an event specialist or event project manager role at a B2B company.
Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and vendors.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, Communications, or related field.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance execution with flexibility.

Responsibilities

Manage project plans for event initiatives, including timelines, milestones, dependencies and budgeting.
Drive day-to-day execution of event logistics, venue coordination and on-site operations.
Identify risks and blockers early and drive resolutions with internal partners and vendors.
Communicate status, run-of-shows, decisions, and actions to keep teams aligned.
Improve event management workflows and team coordination to increase efficiency.
