American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) seeks a senior-level leader to run the program team for high-profile corporate meetings. You will own budgets, manage planning cadences, and oversee onsite delivery across multiple programs, including a flagship conference.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years delivering large corporate meetings and events.
• Experience on a dedicated account team operating under a client statement of work.
• Ownership of multimillion dollar program budgets with forecasts and reconciliations.
• Delivery of large conferences with thousands of attendees within a multiprogram annual calendar.
• Advanced Cvent proficiency including event builds, registration paths, reporting, and integrations.
• Working command of Smartsheet or equivalent project tracking tool.
• Executive client presence for planning meetings and updates.
• People leadership setting clear expectations and developing team members.
• Precise written communication for status reports and logs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dedicated account program team, including Sr Meeting Managers and Coordinators.
• Own delivery for every program from planning kickoff through onsite execution and close.
• Serve as the client's primary delivery contact with planning cadences and status reporting.
• Own program budgets from initial estimate through final reconciliation.
• Own master timeline and milestone tracking for every program in Smartsheet.
• Oversee registration, housing, and attendee communications in Cvent and ensure data integrity and privacy.
• Lead supplier and venue management across the portfolio and production resources.
• Lead onsite delivery for major programs including staffing plans and run of show ownership.
• Maintain program documentation standards and post-program debriefs.
• Partner with Head of Event Operations on account planning and scope management.
