Job summary

Vedder's Chicago Office is seeking an Events Specialist who supports and executes firm events such as seminars, conferences, webinars, and client social events. The role collaborates with Marketing and Client Development Managers, attorneys, and external vendors from planning through post-event follow-up.

The ideal candidate will conceptualize, manage staging, budgeting, invitations, and reporting to align events with the firm’s goals, with flexibility to work extra hours and travel as needed in

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in events/marketing in a law firm or professional services organization preferred.
• Flexibility to work additional hours, including early mornings and evenings as necessary.
• Travel when necessary for events in other cities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support all event logistics as directed by Marketing and Client Development Managers.
• Conceptualize and manage staging of events from planning through execution and post-event follow-up.
• Research and prepare recommendations for events aligned with client and firm goals.
• Create event materials, invitations, budgets, and post-event reports.
