Job summary

Legends Global seeks a Senior Events Manager for the Tucson Convention Center, including the Tucson Arena, Linda Ronstadt Music Hall, and Leo Rich Theater. You will supervise Event Services staff, plan client meetings, and coordinate with service contractors to deliver successful events.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and timelines. Occasional MOD duties and travel within events may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2–4 years related public facility management experience.
• Theater experience is a plus and operating knowledge of facility services and equipment.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Event Services staff and oversees all facility operations related to events.
• Meets with clients to plan and organize meetings and events; coordinates service contractors.
• Interprets contract provisions and informs clients of policies and procedures.
• Prepares cost estimates and monitors final billing; maintains event records.
• Acts as liaison between clients and facility departments; ensures smooth event execution.
• Occasional MOD duties; attends planning and facility meetings; ensures invoices are processed.
