Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Senior Events Manager to own events across the Americas, spanning hosted and sponsored programs. You will set the strategy for showing up at major security, infrastructure, and developer technology stages and manage end-to-end event programs from concept to post-event follow-up.

This role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, vendors, and timelines, and partnering with Sales Operations to drive pipeline.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in event marketing, experiential or field marketing with end-to-end ownership.
• Proven track record managing high-budget programs (>$1M) including hosted events and sponsorships.
• Strong sales-enablement mindset and ability to align field teams with pipeline goals.
• Exceptional organizational skills; manage multiple events with competing timelines and stakeholders.
• Experience managing agencies and developing junior marketers.
• Comfort switching between hosted and sponsored programs as calendar demands.
• Experience using AI tools to automate workflows and improve event operations.
• Curiosity about people, products, processes, and technologies with business impact.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Event Strategy & Portfolio for Americas across hosted and sponsored events.
• Lead hosted events from concept through production, registration, and follow-up.
• Design attendee experiences including content, venue, and on-site operations.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams; manage budgets, timelines and risk plans.
• Drive booth strategy, thought leadership, sponsorships, activations, and on-site moments.
• Activate the sales field with pre-event briefs, target account mapping, and post-event follow-up cadence.
• Define KPIs and report ROI; manage vendor and agency relationships.
