Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee is seeking an experienced Senior Event Manager in the Events department to coordinate and supervise assigned group business from turnover through event closure, while maintaining profitable operations and high-quality service.

You will communicate with clients, upsell programs to boost revenue, prepare event orders and diagrams, supervise event setup, and collaborate with departments to ensure flawless service and accurate forecasting.

Qualifications

• A minimum 2–3 years hotel/service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under time pressures and long hours.
• Fluent English language interaction with clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timely communication with clients throughout planning.
• Upsell definite programs to maximize revenue.
• Prepare event orders, diagrams, resumes, and forms accurately and on time.
• Supervise setup and implementation of events and meetings.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper service of accounts.
• Maintain revenues in Delphi for accurate forecasting.
• Mentor Conference Services Team members based on assigned business segments.
• Support the sales team with client site visits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
