Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Events Activation Senior Specialist to coordinate and plan signature live and online events for clients and prospects. You will manage end-to-end logistics, budget oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with firm and account teams to ensure flawless day-of delivery.

You will negotiate with vendors, track expenses, and measure success against objectives, while upholding the BDO brand in all event marketing activities. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred in business or marketing.
• Four+ years of marketing/event planning/administrative experience required.
• Experience in accounting, financial consulting, business advisory and/or banking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns communication and logistics throughout the planning process.
• Collaborates with Events Activation colleagues for cross-firm event opportunities.
• Manages contractual language for meetings and events.
• Negotiates with vendors to maximize value and quality.
• Oversees event budget and develops estimates vs. actuals.
• Handles audio-video production from concept to final output.
• Coordinates invitation and registration processes, on-site supervision as needed.
