Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Events Activation Senior Specialist to coordinate and plan seamless BDO-branded live and online events for clients, contacts, and prospects. You will drive end-to-end delivery with internal teams and vendors, aligning events with go-to-market strategies and growth goals.

The role requires 4+ years in marketing/event planning, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and strong budgeting, negotiation, and communication skills. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred.
• Four or more years of marketing/event planning/administrative experience required.
• Experience working in Accounting, Financial Consulting, Business Advisory and/or Banking industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns communication and logistics throughout planning.
• Negotiates with vendors to maximize value and service quality.
• Oversees the event budget and develops estimates with spend tracking.
• Coordinates invitations and registrations and provides on-site supervision.
• Performs post-event duties including expense processing and evaluations.
