Job summary

BDO USA’s Events Activation team in San Francisco seeks a Senior Specialist to coordinate live and online events, shaping every detail from strategy to execution for clients and prospects. You will work with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver branded experiences that align with go-to-market goals.

The role requires four or more years in marketing/event planning, a HS diploma (Bachelor preferred), and strong Microsoft Office skills with CRM familiarity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred.
• Four or more years in marketing/event planning/administrative roles.
• Experience in accounting, financial consulting, or banking industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns communication and logistics throughout planning.
• Collaborate with Events Activation for cross-firm events.
• Understand contractual language for meetings and events.
• Negotiate with vendors for best value.
• Manage event budget and cost estimates.
• Oversee audio-video production from concept to final.
• Develop success measures and post-event evaluations.
• Coordinate invitation and registration.
• Provide on-site supervision when needed.
• Post-event duties including expenses, invoicing, and evaluations.
• Champion the BDO brand in event marketing.
