Job summary

NAFSA: Association of International Educators in Washington, DC is seeking an Event Technology Manager to lead the organization's event technology infrastructure for both virtual and in-person events.

You will supervise the Event Technology Specialist, partner with planning teams, and coordinate with vendors to deploy platforms like Cvent, CadmiumCD, and Zoom, ensuring smooth registration and engaging experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• At least 5 years in project-based environments leading programs or projects.
• Power user of event management and virtual event platforms (Cvent, CadmiumCD, Zoom).
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to support end users of web apps.
• Experience managing multiple streams of work in complex settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise event technology strategy and deployments for conferences.
• Collaborate with event planning teams to implement systems and review functionality.
• Coordinate vendor relations and ensure timelines for setup and testing.
• Support on-site registration, hardware, and infrastructure during events.
• Provide post-implementation support and optimize user experience.
