Job summary

The Historic Davenport Hotel in Spokane, part of Davidson Hospitality Group, seeks a Senior Event Planning Manager to coordinate events from planning to execution. You will liaise between clients and hotel sales, guide on-site execution, and resolve issues during events to ensure stellar guest experiences.

Bachelor's degree or 2+ years in hotel sales, 3+ years F&B, and strong negotiation and leadership skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Hospitality CRM systems is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience.
• 3 years food and beverage experience.
• Strong negotiation and interpretation of contracts.
• Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to direct/motivate event planning department to meet goals.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Present a professional appearance and confidence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members.
• Strong time management skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with Hospitality Sales CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of events from initial planning to execution.
• Serve as liaison between the customer and hotel sales to guide execution.
• Be available during events to solve problems and suggest alternatives.
• Directly service group and catering customers, managing logistics of blocks, F&B, space, and billing.
