Job summary

Maritz is seeking a capable Event Management leader to drive performance across markets and event types. You will mentor a diverse team, manage budgets, and coordinate onboarding and training to ensure consistency in service delivery.

You will oversee labor, time tracking, and invoicing approvals while supporting key accounts with project oversight and relationship management. Travel may be required to support client programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in meetings, events, and/or incentive travel preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or people leadership experience preferred.
• Experience managing budgets and financial oversight for programs or accounts.
• Strong organizational, communication, and motivational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, including clients and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach Event Management team members across markets and event types.
• Coordinate regular team meetings, communications, onboarding support, and training initiatives.
• Oversee labor management, time tracking, T&E reporting, and invoicing approvals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide Event Management support for assigned target accounts, including project oversight, relationship management, and financial and compliance management.
• Ensure adherence to workflows, client SOPs, and best practices across accounts for operational consistency.
• Review and audit team transactions and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting for SLA, finance, compliance, and event management.
• Support new initiatives, processes, and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
