Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking an Event Manager in the United States to plan and deliver programs end to end for a dedicated Experience Studio team. You’ll work with a producer on strategy, budgets, and content, and run onsite logistics to make each program a success.

The role requires 4+ years of corporate meeting experience, strong onsite leadership, and proficiency with Cvent and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Four or more years planning corporate meetings and events.
• Onsite lead on ten or more programs per year.
• Budget management up to $500,000 with forecasts and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of hotel/supplier contracts, banquet orders, cost drivers like attrition/minimums.
• Proficiency with Cvent and enterprise project tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver assigned programs end to end with the producer.
• Maintain current program plans in client tools with clear task ownership.
• Own budget management and reconciliation for programs up to $500,000.
• Manage hotels, venues, transportation, F&B, and audio-visual within procurement rules.
• Coordinate registration, housing, and attendee communications.
