Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance in Decatur, AL seeks a Senior Field Service Specialist - EV to perform complex electrical testing, preventative maintenance, commissioning, upgrades and repairs at customer facilities.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, training, establishing LOTO, writing detailed reports, coordinating on-site tasks with customers, and leading safety meetings and field projects.

Qualifications

• Requires experience performing electrical testing, commissioning, upgrades and repairs.
• Strong ability to read manuals, schematics and write diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of safety standards like NETA, NFPA 70E and OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical and electrical tasks on power transmission, distribution and generation equipment at customer facilities.
• Read manuals and schematics to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace and clean components in substations.
• Lead transformer testing, cable testing, and circuit breaker testing.
• Participate in installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment.
• Plan and conduct safety meetings and training; support field project planning and cost management.
• Other duties as assigned.
