Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance is seeking a Senior Field Service Specialist - EV to perform complex electrical testing, maintenance, commissioning, upgrades and repairs onsite at customer facilities. The role requires troubleshooting, report writing, and strong customer interaction skills.

Candidates should have extensive substation experience, be able to relocate within 60 miles, and travel overnight as needed. NETA Level III/IV within 6 months is expected; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or military experience preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in electrical substation testing, construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, assembly, and commissioning.
• Ability to achieve NETA level III or IV within 6 months of employment.
• Project management experience and ability to support planning, scheduling, and cost management of field projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical and electrical tasks on equipment in power transmission, distribution, and generation at customer facilities.
• Read manuals and schematics; write diagrams to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean components in substations; lead key tasks like transformer and cable testing.
• Participate in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
• Plan, participate in, and develop safety meetings and training; support management in project execution and cost control.
