Job summary

Group CBS, Inc. seeks a Senior Field Service Specialist to perform complex electrical and机械 testing at customer facilities, including commissioning, upgrades, and repairs of electrical apparatus.

You will troubleshoot and document issues, train staff, and enforce safety practices such as LOTO. Key duties include transformer, cable, and circuit breaker testing, plus relays testing and on-site installation support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• At least 10 years in electrical substation testing, construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, assembly, and commissioning.
• NETA level III/IV within 6 months preferred.
• Experience with safety compliance standards (NETA, NFPA 70E, OSHA, DOT).

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrical work onsite at customer facilities.
• Test electrical equipment including transformers, breakers, cables, relays, and insulation.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace components in substations.
• Lead tasks such as testing procedures and safety meetings.
• Support planning, scheduling, and cost management of field projects.
