Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Lead Prototype Build Technician to help develop and commercialize state-of-the-art electric vehicle prototypes. You will build vehicle systems and subsystems and work closely with design engineers to identify assembly and service issues in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of luxury automobile technician experience, ASE certification or automotive technology degree, and owns professional tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automotive Technology or ASE Certification required.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Proven excellence in prior roles and strong mechanical problem-solving skills.
• 5+ years of Luxury Automobile Technician experience.
• Bring your own professional automotive tools and toolbox.

Responsibilities

• Build state of the art automotive prototype vehicle, systems, and subsystems.
• Work closely with Design engineers and identify potential assembly and service issues.
• Work efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment.
