Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Lead Prototype Build Technician to help develop and commercialize state-of-the-art electric vehicle prototypes. You will build vehicle systems and subsystems and work closely with design engineers to identify assembly and service issues in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of luxury automobile technician experience, ASE certification or automotive technology degree, and owns professional tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automotive Technology or ASE Certification required.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Proven excellence in prior roles and strong mechanical problem-solving skills.
• 5+ years of Luxury Automobile Technician experience.
• Bring your own professional automotive tools and toolbox.

Lucid Motors is seeking a Lead Prototype Build Technician, you will help develop and commercialize state-of-the‑art electric vehicle. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can‑do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment and be excellent at multi‑tasking.

Your Role:

Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Base Pay Range (hourly)

$47 - $65 USD

Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a401(k) retirementplan. Hourly/non‑exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.Eligible employees may alsoparticipatein Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, aredeterminedbased on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results,in accordance withthe terms of the applicable plans.
