Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Field Quality Engineer, Powertrain, to own investigations of customer-facing powertrain issues across electric drive units, motors, inverters, and thermal systems. You will lead complex root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions to protect the customer fleet.

Qualifications

• 5 years of EV powertrain engineering or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience resolving customer-facing EV powertrain issues.
• Experience leading structured root cause investigations.
• English proficiency for technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end investigations of customer-facing powertrain concerns.
• Determine technical path from signal to root cause.
• Drive permanent corrective actions across design, manufacturing, service, and suppliers.
• Monitor fleet data to identify emerging failure modes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely closure.
