Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced engineer to develop and integrate testing for electric motor control and embedded software on vehicle platforms in Carson, CA. You will collaborate with controls and embedded teams to ensure robust propulsion drive software.

Qualifications

• MS in Electrical/Mechanical/Vehicle Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years EV industry experience or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in vehicle test environments and HV lab settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test motor control algorithms and calibrations for high-power electric drive systems.
• Lead vehicle testing and integration activities; maintain vehicle fleet health and root-cause issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; ensure full test coverage across HV dyno, HIL, sub-components, and system tests.
