Job summary
Tsmg is seeking an experienced Senior Autonomous Vehicle Technician to support maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and operational readiness of autonomous vehicle fleets and robotaxi operations across North America.
The role focuses on keeping electric and autonomous vehicles safe, reliable, and ready for daily deployment, with collaboration across AV Operations Leads, Depot Specialists, Safety Operators, SDS Specialists, and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience as an automotive technician or diagnostic technician.
- Strong experience in automotive diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Good understanding of electrical and electronic vehicle systems.
- Experience using diagnostic tools and service software.
- Ability to follow strict technical procedures and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric and autonomous vehicles used in robotaxi fleet operations.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software-related vehicle issues.
- Support high-availability autonomous vehicle fleets in shift-based or 24/7 environments.
- Escalate complex issues with clear documentation to engineering teams.
- Maintain accurate service records and diagnostic reports.
