Job summary

TSMG is seeking Senior Autonomous Vehicle Technicians to maintain, diagnose, repair, and ensure the readiness of autonomous vehicle fleets and robotaxi operations across North America. This role combines hands-on repair with high-voltage safety and software updates to keep EV and autonomous systems ready for daily deployment.

As a senior technician, you will lead shift activities, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with AV operations leads, depot specialists, and fleet teams to minimise

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on automotive technician experience.
• Strong experience with diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
• Solid understanding of electrical/electronic vehicle systems.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and service software.
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures and documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced depot environment.
• Proficient in English with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric and autonomous vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software issues.
• Support high-availability autonomous vehicle fleets in 24/7 environments.
• Perform advanced diagnostics on EV platforms, ADAS, and vehicle systems.
• Coordinate with engineering and fleet teams to minimize downtime.
• Lead shifts when required and mentor junior technicians.
• Document repairs, diagnostics, and service records accurately.
