Job summary

ASML is seeking a Senior Electro-Optical Systems Engineer in San Diego to lead metrology subsystem design for EUV source qualification. You will own subsystems, drive interfaces, and coordinate with suppliers across optical, mechanical, and software domains.

You will apply optics, detectors, lasers, and signal processing to deliver robust metrology systems, with a focus on measurement accuracy, calibration, and reliability in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

Experience developing optical, electro-optical, or metrology systems for precision hardware.
Ownership of an optical system from requirements to verification.
Hands-on with optical alignment, lasers, detectors, cameras.

Responsibilities

Translate needs into metrology requirements and verification plans.
Lead design and integration of metrology systems for EUV sources.
Develop sensing systems with lasers, optics, detectors, and cameras.
Plan and execute laboratory and cleanroom testing for qualification and release.
Document requirements, architectures, and verification results.
