Job summary
Stantec is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to develop, manage, and coordinate cost estimates for building and facility projects worldwide. You will lead a team of discipline estimators and collaborate with schedulers and construction engineers to produce comprehensive project estimates.
The role covers diverse facilities, with a focus on architectural systems, building envelope, interiors, and related disciplines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of combined estimating and construction experience.
- Experience with multi-discipline estimating and coordinating multiple scopes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules.
- Develop estimates for architectural systems, building envelope, interiors and finishes.
- Coordinate input parameters for estimates and schedules.
- Validate takeoffs and quantities from drawings.
- Coordinate and compile information from estimating disciplines into one estimate.
- Prepare basis of cost estimate reports for end users.
- Interface with management and clients on estimating tasks.
- Identify risks and opportunities and contribute to risk analyses.
