RAM Enterprise, Inc. seeks an experienced estimator to prepare full project estimates in the mining and construction sectors. The role reports to the Senior Estimator in Elko, NV and can be performed remotely as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of heavy industrial or commercial estimating experience, with skills in HCSS Heavy Bid, MS Project, and Excel. Strong communication, organization, and ability to work with subcontractors are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in heavy industrial or commercial estimating.
• Experience delivering lump sum, design-build, and time-and-material estimates.
• Field experience or education in Civil, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or Project/Construction management preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate new bid opportunities for constructability and internal suitability.
• Summarize and present high-level scoping of potential projects for go/no go approvals.
• Visit project sites, participate in pre-bid meetings, clarify scope, and prepare RFIs.
• Create detailed estimates using HCSS or internal worksheets per client pricing format.
• Research pricing based on historical and regional costs; develop self-performed estimates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to capture complete scope of each trade.
