Job summary

RAM Enterprise, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Estimator to prepare and coordinate full estimates on complex projects. This salaried role reports to the Senior Estimator and operates within a heavy industrial/construction environment in the United States.

The ideal candidate will have strong bid preparation skills, site experience, and proficiency with HCSS Heavy Bid, MS Project, and Excel. The role emphasizes collaboration with subcontractors and internal leaders to ensure comprehensive scopes,

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in heavy industrial or commercial estimating.
Field or educational background in civil/mechanical/structural disciplines or project/construction mgmt.
Experience delivering lump sum, design-build, and time-and-material estimates.

Responsibilities

Evaluate bid opportunities for constructability and internal suitability.
Summarize and present scoping to internal stakeholders for go/no-go decisions.
Visit job sites, participate in pre-bid meetings, clarify scope, and prepare RFIs.
Prepare detailed cost estimates using client formats and internal worksheets.
Research pricing using historical and regional costs and develop self-performed estimates.
