Job summary

HDR is hiring a Senior Estimator to join the Building Engineering Services Group in the United States. You will generate capital cost estimates, support risk analysis, and prepare basis documentation for multi-discipline projects such as data centers, industrial facilities, and healthcare environments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field, 10+ years of experience, advanced MS Office and estimating software proficiency (Sage, Timberline, Bluebeam, Revit, HCSS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Science Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of related experience.
• Strong mastery of estimating concepts, scheduling, and risk.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead small project estimates and coordinate with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform general or discipline cost estimating and prepare capital cost estimates.
• Support estimate reporting and reviews.
• Provide technical direction to assigned personnel.
• Prepare services, distributable, contractor indirect and/or capital cost estimates.
• Develop unit rates and pricing for discipline-specific items.
• Assist in developing staffing and pricing data for a discipline.
• Prepare basis and assumption documentation and cost models.
• Participate in estimate reviews and presentations.
• Support training activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
