Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead multidisciplinary cost estimating across their Building Engineering Services Group. You will develop capital and services estimates, analyze data, and support risk and contingency planning for complex projects.

Collaboration with design and field teams will be essential to deliver accurate cost insights and schedules. The role emphasizes leadership in estimating processes, input into bids, and preparing detailed pricing for multi-discipline scopes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office software.
• Advanced understanding of construction estimating concepts and scheduling.
• Ability to lead small project estimates and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform general or discipline cost estimating and data analysis for capital costs and services.
• Support estimate reporting and reviews; provide technical direction as needed.
• Prepare basis and assumption documentation, reflect rationale and exclusions.
• Quantify and spread escalation based on schedule and costs; develop unit rates.
• Participate in estimate reviews and presentations as appropriate.
