Rosendin Electric, Inc is seeking an Estimator III in Tempe, AZ to lead bids for large projects and provide strong estimating support. You will work with estimators, suppliers, and clients to develop thorough, competitive estimates and ensure accuracy from quantity take-offs through final quotes.

You will review plans, specifications, and proposals, coordinate with subcontractors, and advise on scope and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of estimating experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and specifications; proficient in estimating takeoffs and cost control.
• Proficiency with Accubid, LiveCount Cloud and Bluebeam is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead project estimates for several medium-sized bids or one large project with minimal guidance.
• Review drawings, specifications, and pre-bid documents to determine scope and contents of the estimate.
• Identify key areas for value engineering and cost savings; prepare labor and material quantities.
• Solicit quotes from qualified suppliers/subcontractors and review quotes for completeness.
• Prepare scope letters, exclusions, and clarifications; present to Chief Estimator for review.
• Ensure documentation backing estimate figures is complete and organized.
