Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. seeks a Senior Estimator to develop bid/submittal documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You will lead estimation efforts, coordinate with estimators, suppliers, and customers to prepare competitive proposals.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and several years of estimating experience, with knowledge of CAD/3D tools and Accubid. Travel up to 10% and a strong focus on accuracy and leadership are expected.

Qualifications

Read and interpret blueprints and design drawings.
Perform arithmetic calculations required for estimating.
Estimate all types of projects and coordinate group work effectively.
Mentor and assist with the development of estimators.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

Prepare estimate from quantity take-off and finalize the estimate for bidding.
Review specifications and drawings; participate in pre-bid meetings.
Identify value engineering opportunities to improve cost competitiveness.
Lead sub-estimate teams for bids and ensure data backup for estimates.
Solicit quotes from suppliers/subcontractors and review for conformance with plans.
