Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead bid and submittal efforts for electrical construction projects. You will collaborate with estimators, suppliers, and customers to finalize comprehensive estimates and ensure alignment with drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include take-off based estimates, cost analysis, value engineering, and leadership of the estimating team. Eligible candidates will have a relevant bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of estimating experience.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Perform arithmetic calculations required for estimating.
• Estimate all types of projects and coordinate group work.
• Mentor and assist with the development of estimators.
• Identify and meet customers' needs and requirements.
• Proficient with computer and MS Office.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from quantity take-offs for bids.
• Review specs and drawings to determine scope and contents of estimate.
• Identify key cost drivers and value engineering opportunities.
• Provide leadership to personnel preparing sub estimates.
• Solicit quotes from suppliers/subcontractors and verify conformance to plans.
• Maintain back-up documents and Rosendin estimating program.
