Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules for major water infrastructure projects. You will coordinate discipline estimators, drive robust estimates, and support design teams from early to later milestones.

The role involves global project work and significant travel as needed. You will bring hydropower and water infrastructure estimation expertise, mentor junior staff, and partner with clients to ensure defensible, competitive pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years estimating/construction experience.
• Experience with hydropower, water treatment or major water infra.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate development of multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules.
• Collaborate with estimators to develop cost estimates and schedules.
• Develop detailed estimates for water treatment and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate input parameters and validate material takeoffs.
• Interface with management and clients for estimating tasks.
• Identify risks and opportunities affecting cost and schedule.
