Metric Geo is actively seeking an Estimator to prepare cost estimates for civil, municipal and highway construction projects, including underground utilities. The role supports bidding, take-offs, vendor evaluations, change orders, and contract updates.

The Estimator collaborates with Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the project life cycle to ensure accurate budgeting and timely submissions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of civil construction estimation experience.
• Experience with underground utility estimating and geotechnical considerations.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office tools.
• Knowledge of HCSS-Heavy Bid or AG-tek is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze blueprints to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Prepare estimates for vendor or subcontractor selection.
• Coordinate with project team throughout project life cycle.
• Collaborate with engineers, owners, contractors on cost changes.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements during project life cycle.
• Solicit quotations from vendors/subcontractors and track costs.
