Job summary

Cash Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator to bid and complete estimates for heavy civil and subdivision road projects. You will analyze project scopes, costs and schedules and drive self-performed work where applicable.

The role requires strong communication with clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in heavy civil estimating, expertise in earthwork and utilities, and proficiency with bid software.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in heavy civil estimating.
Knowledge of earthwork, utilities, drainage and street/highway construction.
Experience with self-perform work.
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
Experience with Agtek Earthwork and HCSS Heavy Bid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare bids, select vendors/subcontractors and estimate self-performed crew compositions.
Perform quantity take-offs and scope determinations.
Cultivate and maintain client relationships.
Develop accurate bid schedules with Operations.
Present complete estimates to support decisions.
Represent the company at pre-bids and site visits.
