Job summary

Kimmel & Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior Estimator to drive revenue growth, expand GC relationships, and lead estimating across three divisions. Reporting to the President, this role balances front-end BD with disciplined estimating and margin management.

Remote work is available for candidates in the designated region, with a path to executive-level leadership within 24 months based on performance milestones and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in commercial construction estimating, with GC-side estimating preferred.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, proactive follow-up with clients and bids.
• Ability to build and grow relationships with general contractors and developers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with commercial GCs, property owners, and developers to generate opportunities.
• Review bid invitations, qualify opportunities, and manage a active bid pipeline.
• Prioritize bundled proposals to maximize project opportunities and margin.
• Coordinate with Takeoff Specialists to ensure accurate estimates and timely delivery.
• Review takeoffs and quotes for scope alignment, accuracy, and competitiveness.
• Prepare professional proposals meeting pricing standards and 25% minimum gross margin.
• Follow up on proposals to improve bid conversion rates.
• Communicate market intelligence and feedback to leadership.
• Manage multiple bids with accuracy and accountability.
• Help establish scalable estimating processes for growth.
