KBR is seeking a highly skilled Lead Manager, Estimating to support programs in government facilities and construction estimating. The role emphasizes bottoms-up estimating, BOEs, and rigorous analysis of labor, materials, and equipment to meet RFP requirements.

This remote position requires travel up to 25% and knowledge of facilities maintenance, construction, electrical and utilities, with a strong track record in estimating leadership and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, business management, civil engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience, including 10+ years in government facilities or construction estimating.
• Experience interpreting published estimating standards and using historical cost data.
• Top Secret US Government Security Clearance or eligibility.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed time-to-task labor estimates using published docs and historical data.
• Apply structured estimating methodologies to ensure consistency across leads.
• Justify labor hours, materials and equipment to meet RFP requirements.
• Plan materials, tools and equipment for accurate project execution.
• Draft clear SOWs for subcontractors aligned with project needs.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals for technical merit and cost realism.
