Kimmel & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to drive revenue growth, expand general contractor relationships, and lead estimating across three specialty divisions.

This role reports to the President and focuses on building a robust project pipeline and converting opportunities into profitable contracts. The position blends front-end business development with estimating leadership, emphasizing bundled scopes, disciplined margin management, and collaboration with the President and

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction estimating, GC-side preferred.
• Familiarity with bundled scopes such as ceilings, drywall, and painting.
• Experience using bid platforms such as ConstructConnect or Autodesk.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with GC clients, owners, and developers.
• Review bid invitations, qualify opportunities, and maintain a bid pipeline.
• Prioritize bundled proposals to maximize opportunities and margins.
• Coordinate with Quantity Takeoff Specialists to ensure accurate estimates.
• Review quotes for accuracy, scope alignment, and competitiveness.
• Prepare proposals meeting pricing standards with a target gross margin of 25%.
• Follow up on proposals and improve bid conversion rates.
• Communicate market intelligence and feedback to leadership.
• Manage multiple bids with accuracy and accountability.
• Help establish scalable estimating processes for growth.
