Rosendin Electric, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Estimator to prepare bid/submittal documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The Senior Estimator acts as the lead estimator, coordinating with estimators, suppliers, and customers to complete competitive bids.

You will review drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, and drive value engineering, with accountability for timely, well-documented estimates and effective leadership across the estimating team.

Formación

• Read blueprints and engineering drawings to prepare estimates.
• Perform arithmetic calculations required for estimating.
• Estimate all types of projects and coordinate group work to complete estimates.
• Mentor and assist with the development of estimators.
• Identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare quantity take-offs and project estimates for bids.
• Review specifications and drawings to determine scope and content of the estimate.
• Lead and coordinate discipline sub-estimates for bids.
• Provide data to back-up estimate figures and maintain documentation.
