R.R. Cassidy is seeking a Senior Estimator in Beaumont, TX to lead bids for electrical, utility and infrastructure projects. You will own cost and risk assessments from scope review through award and handoff to operations, mentoring junior estimators along the way.
You will collaborate with business development and project teams to win profitable work, maintain cost databases, and improve estimating templates while managing multiple bids to deadline.
Formación
- 7+ years of construction estimating experience, with at least 3 years in electrical/utility/infrastructure.
- Proven track record estimating projects of comparable size and complexity.
- Proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam/Adobe, Claude) and Microsoft Excel.
Responsabilidades
- Review bid documents, identify scope, risks and issue RFIs.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Assemble bid packages with schedules, staffing plans and contingencies.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor proposals; negotiate pricing.
- Manage multiple bids to deadline with quality and consistency.
- Handoff awarded estimates to project management and operations.
- Maintain cost databases and estimating templates.
